I finally bit the bullet and decided to try an ssri.
Mainly due to my doc and counceler thinking my head pressures and acid reflux are caused by my anxiety and mild depression.
Anyway I use pst and codeine about 1-3 times a week, for relief of my head pressure. Usually using dxm and periactin as potentiators. Periactin is a first gen antihistamine.
I'm taking 5mg escitalopram (small dose for a small guy) to start, first Q. would taking such a small amount of dxm (30mg) be dangerous with my ssri?
And there any interactions with ssri's and first gen antihistamines?
I'm pretty sure I won't be able to take dxm anymore
