I've heard things mentioned in other threads about creating a list of what's available over the counter in various European countries. Obviously nobody could condone the scrotty behaviour of drug tourism ;) but wouldn't it be nice to have a handy reference for what's available when you go on holiday?

Any extra info is much appreciated.

United Kingdom
Co-codamol-8mg Codeine Phosphate/500mg Paracetamol.Available in packs of 32, roughly 256mg of codeine per packet

Paramol- 7.46mg Dihydrocodeine tartrate/500mg Paracetamol. Available in packs of up to 32, roughly 238mg of DHC per packet

Sominex- 20mg Promethazine Hydrochloride per pill. Available in packets of 8

Gee's Lincus-3.32ml of Opium tincture per bottle

Diocalm Dual Action - 0.395 mg morphine Activated attapulgite 312.5mg, Attapulgite 187.5mg - <8mg morphine per pack (20 capsules)

J Collis Brownes Mixture-1mg of morphine anhydrous per dose. Assuming 5ml dosages, 20mg of morphine per bottle

Kaolin & Morphine Mixture - 5ml spoonful Light kaolin BP 1g, sodium bicarbonate BP 250mg, morphine hydrochloride BP 0.458mg and ethanol.

Dextromethorphan / DXM- Available from a number of sources. amount of dxm per unit varies.

Thanks a lot for this! Been looking for a thread exactly like this one, hopefully it gets added to. For the DXM one I know that the only one worthwhile for recreational usage of DXM in the UK is:

In Portugal n Spain tis possible 2 get sum right goodies otc . I've hgad all sorts of benzo's from satandard Roche 10s to Temaze Gel Caps via Oxazepam n ativan.
Ime it comes down 2 luck , lingo, location n using your imagination;)
Generics a\re soooo Cheap, 60 Ratiopharm 10mg diaz 2euro 30 . Roche cum in poacks of 30 n are just under 4 euro dat was in Seville not long ago .
It ain't like the UK thats 4 sure.
One piece of advice i can give if u r gonna be shopping abroad , is 2 know the names cos often they are different e.g Temazepam in Portugal is called Normison.
U can find out most of the different names with a bit of googling.

I've read about carisoprodol being available otc in spain, but that government legislation has been passed and removed it. I was gonna do a bit more digging but couldn't find anything.

Are these things completely legal, or are they under the counter sales? or do they just involve a "consultation" with a pharmacist?
 
I can confirm 30/500 Codeine/Paracetamol are availiale OTC in Portugal, Spain and the Canary Islands (Lanzarote, Tenerife etc).

I didn't think about asking for benzos unfortunately :(

I brought back aprox 200 co-cods in my hand luggage no problem (done it twice now). I even took some Pregabalin and Etizolam over with me, again twice, no probs. (Although I don't recommend it, it coulda fucked things right up! But with a dependence and no scrip what can you do?) *Cough* Fake docs letter *Cough* What?

It's not so much whats availible , it's making it availible 2 yourself;)
 
Etizolam is legal in the UK , but ive only seen it for sale on indian internet pharmacys. Should i trust them because im really wanting some etizolam :P

I've used and abused (and continue to do so) the 1mg 'Etilam' Etizolam from the Indian online pharmacy and I can say it works very well as a Short - Medium duration Benzo. I'd say has a lower abuse potential than Xanax but a possibally equal or even greater abuse potential than Valium.

Codeine only, no paracetamol or other shit in it.

I recommend Tussipax and Paderyl for their low price.
 
Thanks loulou, I assume paradil is just a mistranslation of paderyl, so I've got rid of that.

What's peoples opinions on including things like piracetam, etizolam etc? Although they're not strictly over the counter they are legal...
 
There's promethazine too OTC in France:

Phénergan comprimés: 25mg per tablet, 20 tablets per pack. Very cheap too (1.28 euros per pack).
 
Why is OTC promethazine a big deal? It's just an anti-histamine, no real recreational potential.
 
Because anti histamines are almost essential if you are doing high doses of codeine, and promethazine just happens to go together nicely with it IMO
 
What's the name of those Spanish 60mg dihydrocodeine tablets? Used to be available OTC but think there's been a bit of a clampdown. Rough as hell but, as Spanish junkies appreciate, better than nothing.

Wish I could recall what the fucking things are called. Like having an annoying itch. Any BLer able to tell me?
 
Controlled-release dihydrocodeine is a non-prescription item in some places, especially the 60 mg strength. A report by the Ivo Šandor Organisation in 2004 listed Andorra, Spain, Gibraltar, and Austria as having varying degrees of access to these and other dihydrocodeine, nicocodeine, and codeine products.

Picked up some of these today from boots, UK

56 pills for £7.50 :p

Called phenergan

Real Doctors letters work far better. Also can't belive u risked your passport 4 Co codamol

In theory this thread is a really good idea . But acquiring otc substances in foreign countries is not really an exact science.
Their are just so many factors that have 2 be taken in 2 account that most peoples experiences are going to be different to the next.
