Opioids Opana ER nasal spray

I'll keep it short and sweet..... Does anyone know how to make the extended release opanas into a nasal spray. Im doing it for harm reduction purposes as I know snorting isnt the best for your nose/lungs.

yeah, I do this alot.
put a few OM ER's in a water solution. let it chill in the fridge for a few days, maybe with like ~3-5% isopropyl alcohol or ethanol to break down the ER.
after that, filter through cotton ( I use a tiny little funnel that has a nozzle that fits perfectly into a visine bottle. I use the visine bottle to create a vacuum to suck the solution through the cotton.

You may want to re-extract it a second time. yo choice.

yeah, I get the IR's now and this is almost exclusively what I do.
The only thing I would add is to dissolve a precise # of mg's in a precise mL of water.
eg. I put mine into a visine bottle which is 15mL, so I usually crush up 30mg of the drug, sometimes 60, mix with water and filter through cotton with a needle-less syringe. This gives me concentrations of either 2 to 4 mg's/mL of fluid.
The limit for solubility is 4mg/mL for oxymorphone- the only other soluble thing in the IR's is the dye, so you may have to re-extract the cottons once to get it ALL out, but you'll get close to the full 4mg/Ml if you plan for it.

Obviously, you want to remember that the less liquid you insuffulate the easier it is to absorb.
Use bacteriostatic water or add like a really small % of ethyl or glycol alcohol to some sterile water,
otherwise keep your concentrate in the fridge to keep shit from growing in it.

This sounds a bit to complicated for me lol, im an idiot when it comes to making stuff like this and I dont have the tools to measure out ML's and stuff. I'm also worried about wasting one of my 40mg ER's because it seems like you guys are using the IR's... not sure if it works the same.

What do you guys mean by filtering it with cotton, do you just use a normal cotton ball and somehow filter it through? I'm a complete newb when it comes to stuff like this.

Dude: look at a visine bottle. It says 16.4mL. So take a bit out and it's 15mL.
Fill it up with water and then use that quantity of water to dissolve the pills in.
Yes it works with the ER.

Just go to a pharmacy and ask for an oral syringe or one with a spray nozzle.
The alternative is to find a tiny funnel from a cooking set and put a small (1/4 of a cotton ball) in the bottom of the funnel, press it down, pour the liquid over it, then squeeze the visine bottle to create a vacuum to suck the fluid through the filter (out the bottom of the funnel)

milligrams and milliliters are pretty easy to measure.

K thanks, ill try that tomorrow. Although im still abit worried because I heard that ERS gel up really bad when you put them in water.

yeah dude, you're going to have to wait a bit (like a day) for the gel to dissolve completely, and make sure you have a bit <5% of some type of solvent in the solution (just make sure it's not enough to burn your nose)

Dude be careful, I am prescribed ER's and they gel when you mix them with anything less than 70% isopropol alcohol. Whoever says they do this all the time, they must be doing it with IR's.

IR's dissolve in water tho.

A nasal spray with 70% iso prop. would be very painful. This will not work imo

Opanas are dangerous not only for nasal/loungs.... i've heard of at least three heavy opana users in my town dieing from either kidney or liver failure (forget which).... when I snorted them for like two weeks straight, 50mg or so a day I was having some bad bowel pain and issues as well

I disagree ^, there is a slight issue with snorting silica as it may lead to silicosis.

The thing is, Opana shouldn't have any other adverse effects when snorted besides a slightly gelled nose (if they aren't IRs).

I dont understand what makes them more dangerous to your kidneys/livers/lungs than any other opiates, but you make me curious atleast. Anyone have any input on why Opana's may be more dangerous?

The contain Microcrystaline silica cellulose which is really really terrible for your lungs.

Conceivably if you snorted lots of them you would get a bunch of silica in your lungs and end up with mesothelioma and die.
I doubt that will happen though. Maybe if you are unlucky.

As far as the 70% ISO alcohol, I find that it is only necessary if you want to do an IMMEDIATE extraction - I find that with a bit of a solvent you can easily dissolve it if it is left with water for at least 24 hours.
If you are impatient you can do the ISO extraction, evaporate it, re-dissolve it in water, filter (lots of binders will dissolve in the ISO) and then go for it you will be fine.
