Hey everyone, I recently posted a thread in a different forum asking about this plant. Even though I couldn't find any information on it, I decided to order it anyway and give it a go
When it arrived, I realized that it looked a little purple, and that it smelled rather strange (though not bad). I was a little hesitant to smoke it since I'm on psych meds and there's no indication anywhere on what is in this stuff. However, there was no bad reaction with an SSRI, mood stabilizer (Lamotrigine), or an atypical antipsychotic...so I can assure you, for the most part, that there is nothing dangerous about the use of this plant when combined with other psych meds (not sure about MAOIs of course).
Now, there is something funny about this shit...it is definitely not a placebo (at least for me). It takes about 5 hits to know that I am feeling something for sure, and after that I don't feel like smoking anymore (not because of the taste, but more because of the effect). It tastes alright, kind of sweet, but nothing like marijuana of course. The smoke is less harsh than Wild Dagga flowers. When you hold it in you don't feel like you're going to burst like when you hold in a good hit of pot. A rather mild smoke. Here's an erowid style report after getting high 4 times in two days (listed from most important to least important (at least for me)):
POSITIVE
- Significant reduction in anger
- Decrease in levels of stress
- Moderate sense of well-being
- Feelings of empathy (mild)
- Feelings of peace (mild)
NEUTRAL
- Sedative effects (mild)
- Mild change in perception: things become more clear
NEGATIVE
- A mild crash consisting of mild depression and a possible desire to experience the drug again
Peak effects last around 15 - 20 minutes while the come down lasts about 25 - 30 minutes.
So, overall this is a really nice high! If you can get your hands on pot you probably shouldn't bother. But, if you can't smoke pot (like me), and you have anger management problems and/or you're having a depressing day, Indian Warrior will most likely help...at least temporarily. With this stuff I definitely feel a crash every time (4 out of 4 so far).
I hope some of you try this shit and tell me what you get out of it. Thank you for reading!
