zzzzzzz

your friends sound like tools

two many guitars, and besides estimated, no bobby songs (which are better than jerry songs)

the only songs i want to hear are althea, cold rain, dew and bird song

get at me bro

name one cool song phil wrote besides unbroken chain, box of rain is so over rated

and his voice these days, that voice is enough to spoil even good musical performances

from the reviews i've read i heard it was over cluttered, this is a kind of line up that should of heavily rehearshed prior to going on tour. and i highly doubt they did

i'm happy for you

but no thanks

bring on ratdog

btw the ratdog tri performance will be replayed this wednesday for anyone interested

check it out, was fun as hell

not as bad as easy answers. and not even in the same league as money money.

what she wants!

love it

those phil songs are really really bad, i understand they came out during a dark era, but come on

even samba in the rain thinks those songs suck

playin' in the band, the other one, black throated wind, jack straw, let it grow, WRS, music never stopped, estimated prophet, cassidy, looks like rain, big iron, sailor>saint, sugar magnolia, truckin', samson....i'm wasting my time, just try and think of GD without weir's material

pigpen's death was one of the best things to ever happen to the band

no way dude. pigpen was the man. just listen to weir make a fool of himself trying to sing his tunes.

i am a big fan of weir's rhythm playing, but his slide work is just ugh. and it probably would have been better if he had found somewhere besides on stage to learn it.

it's pretty well documented that phil isn't a big song writer. he's a bass player. that's why he didn't sing for so many years, to focus strictly on the bass.

bobby has always been a song writer. he wrote more songs than phil, so it's kind of a lame argument.

it'd be much easier to argue jerry vs. bobby songs. of course, jerry would win that one in a landslide, but i'm just sayin.

CR's overfluff of bobby makes me giggle.

couldn't disagree more micheal

love me some weir lovelight, good lovin' and midnight hours

and the slide play?? fuckin' love '78-'79 weir slide: see - 1/22/78 row jimmy, 5/11/78 cold rain and snow, 4/24/78 fire on the mountain,4/19/78 werewolves, 4/10/78 peter, 5/9/79&11/18/78 stagger just off the top of my head
