i recently realized that if you're having an intense roll and feeling on top of the fucking world, any song that's played will sound like a "best rolling song."

i've never liked dee-lite. i was probably around 13 years old when they released the hit "groove is in the heart." i never liked the song and thought it was lame.

fast forward years later, i was at an all house lineup. i was having an intense roll feeling incredible... then the dj surprisingly drops "groove is in the heart." i could have sworn he played the original version. and surprisingly, i was not at all turned off; i actually really enjoyed this song. and the reason perhaps... i was having an intense roll; any song would have sounded awesome
