The doc has me on a new perscription drug, Zyprexa. I took a look around the internet for any info at all for this drug, and came up with very little scarce information.
I'm looking to see if Zyprexa, which is in the class of anti-psychotics and also has sedative qualities, (as it is for my insomnia) can give me a good buzz if taken in high quantitiez. I'm not going to do it if I can't fid any usefull info.
If you have any information on it, or any sitez that would be of use, thankz.

absolutely not, it will just knock you out in higher doses

I agree with tonedeaff - you also risk side-effects at high doses that include dystonic reactions (severe muscle spasms). Personally if my Dr gave me an anti-psychotic for insomnia I would find a new Dr (just my 2 cents though). Sure Zyprexa has less side-effects than older anti-psychotics, but it still has some of it's own. Search olanzapine at google, there should be heaps of info out there.

My friend, who has been diagnosed with paranoid schizophrenia and depression, is on Zyprexa.
It should definately work for your insomnia. He's taking it for it's anti-psychotic properties. But he's actually been sleeping way too much and feeling a bit lazy. A higher dose just, as everyone else has said, completely knocks him out for a while.
Are you on anything else? It seems kind of strange that he'd give you an anti-psychotic before he'd give you something like trazodone, an anti-depressant with sedative properties.

Take your damn meds the way they were ment to be taken.. Zyprexa isn't in a class of drugs that can be abused..
