Hi how long do I have to be off zuclopenthixol injection to feel opium, ive been off the injection for 3 weeks now and have been receiving it for 3 months.

2-4 weeks is average for it to be out of your system... the more you sweat, piss, and shit, the more substance leaves you faster. Mostly just posting this because others didn't answer, I am not the most qualified to answer this.

How long is the injection designed to last? How often do you receive them?

This medication will not block the analgesia or sedation of opioids, but a lot of the mental euphoria from opioids is caused by downstream dopamine effects. It will block this, some of the euphoria, but not all of it.

Long form AP injections are a little different than basing it on the half life, as these injections stay "suspended" in your arm for weeks or months, and cannot be metabolized as they would be if taken orally.

I see. I forgot the depot injections are pretty much suspended in an essentially plastic or another indigestible material to slow release. Just didn't want this to go unanswered. Appreciate the more in depth explanation.
