Zopiclone - Semi Experienced - The Handyman

I thought I'd try a dose of Zopiclone after reading the other report on Zolpidem out of curiousity ;)

Time:12pm wide awke
Substance:None
Food:Meal at 11pm

I wasn't tired as I had got up that day around 4pm as seems to be usual these days. As usual I had missed all the stores etc so decided just to sit around and watch some TV , surf, music and read.
Wrote myself a list for the next day as I have a few things to get organised.

T+0 1x7.75mg Oral.
Start to feel the light uphoria almost immediately, walking becomes a little difficult but pleasant. I have a few thing to do which prove simple enough.
T+15 1x7.5mg Oral After a further 15 mins I'm pretty di-orientated, staggering around and constantly bummping into things and even falling flat on my arse a few times.

At some stage I ate a further 4 x 7.75mg tabs looking at the blister pack but have no recollection at all.

I then obviously passed out at some point. On waking this morning after 12 hours sleep I find a tool box has been opened with screwdrivers lying around. So had a look around .... 8o

I had dismantled a large coffee table (which I was thinking of doing anyway), re-arranged some of the furniture in the Livingroom and dismantled and re-assebled the main front door lock which leads onto the common close for no know particular reason.

I vaguely remember banging in screws in to front door at around 2-3am and also fitting a very old brass door bell button to the doorway ... which is very odd as I don't have a door bell.

I assume I was dressed as usual in boxers shorts and little else during this experience.

Conclusion: No recreational value whatsoever unless you are a handyman and like to work after midnight. Amnesia in a blister pack!

Update: I felt unusually bright and happy today ... a great day ... then I had to fix the door as my nocturnal repairs prevented me from being able to lock the door 8(

Ah great report, the drugged up handyman. I got some chores around the house, I figure if I take these I'll just wake up in the morning with them all done.
 
Yeah, that's pretty much my experience as well. 2 x 7.5mg zopiclone puts me out FAST. It's a pretty amazing anti-insomnia drug though.

I have yet to use it to comedown from coke or E.. someday I'll try that and post the results. I'd have a feeling it would be great for E comedown since it puts you to sleep instead of just making you "Relax" as a benzo would.
 
I kinda wanna try it. For those of you who don't know, zopilclone is also known as Lunesta, a fairly new sleep medication
 
thats a great report. reminds me alot about nights on zopiclone. it creates real bad amnesia and i end up doing a whole bunch of shit i never remember.
 
that's really funny. I wonder if any of your neighbors caught you playing fix-it in your underwear - that would make for some amusing gossip on the block...

*Sorry bumping an old thread*

Lunesta is the more potent Eszopiclone as it's the active stereoisomer of Zopiclone.

Zopiclone: Imovane, Zimovane (Half Life ~6hrs)
Zolpidem: Ambien, Stilnox, Stilnoct, Myslee amongst other names (Half Life ~3hrs)
Eszopiclone: Lunesta (Half Life ~6hrs)
 
I like ambien but cant really stand the metalic taste zoplicone gives you after ingestion and the following day yuk.
 
quite a wicked report - hopefully I'll take one every night and my house (in construction) will be built in a couple weeks
 
I have plenty of experience with Lunesta and Ambien.

Lunesta seems more similar to benzodiazepines to me, and it does work well for insomnia.

Ambien is quite strange. The hallucinogenic effects are almost beyond description. I find that if I stay awake on it, just relaxing with my eyes shut, I have very vivid "waking dreams." If I hang out my window, smoking a cigarette, I tend to have strange foreign thoughts and odd hallucinations. Also, I tend to focus on things that seem radically important, yet upon awaking the following day, these things are a part of my every day routine. ..Very strange. The reason I replied to this post is because I was just thinking about taking 10mgs of Ambien.
 
Yes the taste with zopiclone is very very odd. you can have it slide down your throat without coming in contact with your tongue and within 15 minutes there is a weird taste on your tongue whenever you exhale.

I personally find that it is very similar to benzodiazepines in that i just get very relaxed and tend to want to do stuff; rather than sleep.
 
Lunesta reminds me a lot of Xanax. I get that warm fuzzy feeling i get on benzos, but sooner or later i just doze off.

Ambien is a lot different IMO. when i take ambien i feel it in about 10 minutes and then i start tripping out and talking to myself for about an hour before i actually fall asleep... strange stuff
 
I sometimes have when I am trying to sleep that are VERY realistic when mixing stimulants and Zopiclone, Ambien or Lunesta. Its strange, its a dreamlike state that I can pull myself in and out of at will, and it will last the whole night.

Most of the time I get my best sleep when I've done coke and taking a Lunesta, which seems very strange. Its true though.
 
where do you guys get these 7.5 mg lunestas? i thought the max is 3mg? the 7.5 are canada only or somethign?
