Ever since stopping opiates I notice a feeling like I got a shock/prod of electricity mostly on my legs. It kind of burns. Also sometimes it feels like their is a bug crawling on my leg and I go to wipe it away but there is nothing there. Is it a normal thing to experience since I am pretty new off of opiates (about 3 weeks give or take). I already had my nerves tested and the dr. said they were great.

Yep it's normal, it should go away soon.

RLS is a common symptom of opiate withdrawal.

I've foun exercise and diet (eliminating caffeine or tobacco if you use it) to be beneficial.

I didn't know it was RLS...I thought that happened when you were mostly sleeping or sitting down and you just keep moving your legs. Well at least I know now. Thanks for the response. At least I know it won't last forever!
