z drugs

does anybody know where i can get any history of ambien and imovane,
there seems to be no time line of who made this drugs except sanofi aventis
when i look up barbiturates and benzodiazepines ,it tells me the the actual
person who discovered them.
the z drugs dont seem to be that important.

Are you sure you did read Wikipedia? From Wikipedia:

"Zopiclone was first developed and introduced in 1986 by Rhône-Poulenc S.A., now part of Sanofi-Aventis, the main worldwide manufacturer of the drug."

yes i have but i am asking the actual person who discovered it
i know it was Rhone poulenc rorer .
i researched both z drugs i read wikipedia my question is the actual person who discovered it.
