Your opinion please....Using LSD one more time...

You really have to seek some professional help on this matter: Maybe they will prescribe you some kind of medication, but don't go doing any self-med, please...
What you said about the fact that you feld good while on MDMA - don't get any hope from that. That's exactly the same as what this friend (well, used to be a friend) of mine I told earlier about was thinking:
He was paranoid and depressed because of the speed. When he used some again, he feld good for a couple of hours - after that it only got worse!
Everybody told him, but he wouldn't take any advice...I haven't seen him lately, but the last time we met, he was hearing voices in his head and was totally paranoid towards everything. Don't go that road - find some professional help!!
-Good luck
ps Sorry if my spelling sucks...English isn't my native language

The mind is a labyrinth, ladies and gentlemen. A puzzle. And while the paths of the brain are clearly visible, its ways deceptively patterned, its destinations are unknown, its secrets still secrets. And, if we are honest, it is the lure of the labyrinth that draws us to our chosen field, to unlock those secrets. Others have been here before us and have left us signs, but we, as explorers of the mind, must devote our lives and energies to going further, to tread the unexplored corridors in the hope of finding ultimately...the final solution. We have to see, we have to know...!

Ok...
I'd say you shouldn't be doing ecstacy either, rob, as it is a serotonergic, just like LSD, which gave you a bad trip.
Some people like to brag about 'not having bad trips' or having them very rarely. Note that these are people usually talking about acid or one of the less powerful tryptamines. in my opinion, bad trips often happen for a reason. I've taken acid about 10 times and had about half of those be 'bad' trips, where, until the peak of the drug wore off I just wanted to hole up in the issues the drug was bringing up and take them in without saying a word to anybody.
Every time, (often with the help of cannabis) after the peak of the drug wore off I felt cleansed of useless thoughts and felt physically excellent, especially with LSD. So I agree with people like WLD who tell you to get back on that horse. Not now, but when your life is relaxed and you are in a safe, tranquil place, better to be outside in the daylight, I would say. I like taking acid so it will start really kicking when the sun goes down, but that's just me.
You don't have to try acid again, but I've always found after a bad trip to let yourself know the drug in question is more of an ally than an enemy, if an enemy at all.
But like some of the folks here suggested, you might want to seek out people you trust and who you know are wise to help you w/ your problem, exercise enough, get into good sleep patterns, etc. etc.
Don't take anti-depressants.
peace-out

I'm on the same wavelenght as you man. I used to trip alot, and would always have bad trips (mentally). I figured each time that if I did acid again, maybe I would realize something on it that would make my life good again. It never worked. Then I started experimenting with e, as in your situation, and I felt happy on it, but each time I came down, I would return to my normal situation again. Then I actually found the solution. Most people are going to tell you not to take acid, to work your problems out on your own, but this wasn't the case with me. I tried candyflipping, and that actually helped ALOT. My mind raced because of the acid, but the pills helped turn my negative thoughts that I usually had into positive ones. After the candyflip, not only was I the sociable, happy-go-lucky person that I was before I took acid, but all my good feelings towards everything seemed to be magnified. Take whatever advice you please, as my situation may very well have been different then yours, but I thought I would just offer up a suggestion from personal experience.

Counter the effects?
Taking acid gave you problems ("has had a profuse effect on my psyche"), you ended up going to the hospital because of it. You continue to have problems because of it.
Take more?
Social Darwinism at it's finest. Where did you get the idea that taking more acid would just knock you back to how you used to be? Sorry to be harsh but that is the stupidest thing I have heard all day.
Don't take any more, you will probably make things worse.
Best of luck to you.
