Your opinion: OC the same as dope?

Obviously. But this doesnt apply to someone why has done heroin and oxycontin, since they have gotten over the social stigma of using heroin and other opiates.

Very very true. I'll do a line or a bump every half hour if i gotta bag of dope, but vikes or oxy and i can wait until right before bedtime and go to sleep after they wear off.
 
i had a 3 year 2 80 a day usin habit. i never touched dope the whole time, then one day i all of the sudden ran into a good good dope connect and decided id give it a try. well that was that and o.c. went out the windo cause it turned into percocet, actually not even it turned into vicoden. id say its a pretty bad choice to move up to dope..

in respect to what kind of damage they're capable of doing?

put it this way. I know a guy who would shoot OC and cough blood every morning. Supposidly because the binders end up lodged in the lining of your lungs. Has anyone ever seen this effect from shooting dope?

Cus I for one have not.

I was only pointing out that the method of administration has a lot to do with my opinion on which drug is 'harder.' Most people would call OC the lesser evil but when a needle is involved it's not neccessarily so.

I think a main reason a lot of people think h is worse than oc is because of the above said cycle. People start off their opiate honeymoon with percs, vikes, and oxy. Everything is going great and they're having the time of their life. Soon though, tolerance and dependence rears its ugly head. That 80mg oxy or 40mgs of hydrocodone doesn't satisfy anymore. They become desperate and move onto something more potent and cheaper: heroin. Their opiate addiction starts to spiral out of control, whilst using heroin.
In their head, most think, "Shit, I was fine until I started using heroin." Which I don't believe is the case. They were fine until their use got out of control. That's when the shit hit the fan. Any takers on this theory?
