I would like to know what psychedelic you took to change your life completely around in the good way. :) I hope to read your experience, what drug, and the setting. I am of course trying to copy you. ;)

Lsd. I had a ++++ trip that that made me realize how much harm i was doing taking opiates daily. Been clean for almost a year now.

My most influential trip was the first time I ate two ten strips of LSD.

It was the first time I had a major out of body experience and it completely reshaped me to my core. During the peak of that trip my soul/being was blasted from the earth, through the clouds above our atmosphere into orbit. And I circled the earth gazing back down upon it while an entity spoke to me telepathically. He/it explained to me that human kind/consciousness is an experiment being carried out by a more advanced species than ours. And we are just a bleep on the radar, and there are other places/dimensions similar to ours, where these very same things are happening to other organisms much like ourselves.

It seems that there are several states of being in this universe and not all of them manifest themselves physically. This one I encountered at this time was pure energy that conversed with a booming voice that spoke in a almost digitally sounding manner, with hum's spaced between words. I've had several other experience's with entities that where very awe-inspiring, I'll go into more detail later if people are interested. These trips made me realize how incredible this universe really is, and what a gift we've been given to be able to experience it.

I usually don't talk about this often...

It was Ayahuasca at a Santo Daime ceremony.

It was my first real hard incursion into psychedelics. I understood the real meaning of Gnosis then. This experience change my life forever, in all senses. I re-equated my beliefs, my convictions of the self, my hobbies, and even my research topics, which, as a PhD, is my actual job.

I've had other stronger experiences than that, even with Ayahuasca, but none had the visible and tangible transformative power of that first one.

First time i broke thruogh on DMT, i would'nt say it changed me completey, i still have a huge ego, am cocky at times and more but i think it had changed the way i appriciate life more in general (know it sounds really cliche but dmt made me embrace nature more)

ooh btw i go on bout dmt way to much on PD forum but wish more people experienced it more, its the king of psychs :)
