Your Favourite Fruit!

this is so hard. there are so many wonderful fruits. one of my favorites is mango. there's nothing like it. but, my absolute favorite is one that i believe cannot be found in the United States too often. In cuba, where i am from it is readily available though. I'm not sure if it even has a name in english. but in spanish it is called mamey. it is fucking delicious.

Just planted some fruit trees/plants since moving to Florida. We have banana pants, a mango, 2 orange, a fig and several pineapple bushes. It's dificult for me to pick a favorite fruit but I have to say I am extremely excited about the dwarf cavandish (lady finger) bananas being home-grown.

Lady fingers were always a favorite of mine from the grocery store =D. They're also adorable because full size they're only about 4" long.

I burst out laughing because BL is the only place I know where people mention the most aberrant, senselessly hedonistic imperatives to get fucked up harder through minute things.

In this case, I love grape-fruit.
 
I'm so jealous right now of you people living where tropical fruit grows.

Here they are not the same.

E.g. mangos: We have non-pre-ripened mangos, these will never get good. Then we ha pre-ripened mangos, which are already a little better. And we have ripe fly-in mangos, but these are expensive and worst for the environment.
A ripe mango is godlike. And I never had one where they grow, these must taste wonderful!

Once I bought some mangosteens at a local shop. Never had any before, and when I cut one I realized they were very old, dry and moldy inside.
The staff probably couldn't see either.

In a local asia shop they have frozen durian. Alway wanted to buy. You think they'll taste fine when have been frozen before? These are also very big and have to be eaten very fast, as I heard. Don't want to throw most of it away...

Oh man, that's just not fair! When I grow old, i'll have a huge farm, with just about everything one can imagine. I'll write it all down in a list and then give it to you, so you can envy me. Until then: Ahhhh, mangoooo tree! 8(

Still, has anyone experience with these frozen durians?
 
I like apple,orange and banana.They are delicious in taste and full of nutrition.
There juices are so beneficial for health and fitness.yammmmmmm
