Everybody MUST try rhambutans, or rambhutans, rambutans. Fuck how thy're spelt. Just eat one & you'll fall in love!
 
I REALLY need to eat more fruit, I'm working really hard to replace all the sweets I've been nomming with fruits! So far, my favorite discoveries have been strawberries, grapefruits, and plums. DELISH!
 
hmm... mangoes, pears that are firm and tart (i hate overly sweet fruit), lychees, watermelons... i also love cherries but can't eat them as i'm mildly allergic to them, and my whole mouth and throat will start to itch like a motherfucker.

that doesn't sound right at all. I'm not a fan of melons or honeydews either as they have this odd taste that puts me off. Kind of reminds me of the white part of a watermelon.

Mangoes should be slightly sweet and sour. What color was the inside of the mango you ate? I prefer the light yellow crispier variety as apposed to the dark yellow ones as the crispier mangoes are a bit more sour and not too sweet.

Loquats are so good. It's too bad you can't find em at a grocery store as they go bad rather quickly.

I like makeing smoothies with berries, like raspberries and strawberries, a banana, a thing of yogurt, and some juice. They come out really tart and great. :)

.... Oh and blueberries

Totally open for smoothie suggestions. I usually take fruit that's gonna go bad and freeze it.

Maybe you had some mangoes that were not ripe? They shouldn't taste the way you described.

I like to put a mango into fruit drinks with strawberries, bananas, and orange juice.

As for the topic I eat mainly a Mediterranean diet so I eat all types of fruit and I can't pick a favorite single one.
 
My favorite fruit has got to be the banana.
I love peeling them and they just taste of pure goodness. As a child I would ask my mum to make me banana sandwiches,lovely.
 
My favorites are watermelon, pineapple, honeydew melon, Strawberries, seedless grapes, mangoes, white peaches, white nectarines and raspberries
