Your Favourite Fruit!

This is a tough one. I personally love just about all berries. Strawberries are amazing. Blackberries, blueberries, etc. I like lemons a lot. Peaches are good. Oranges and all their lookalikes are right up there (seedless, please). Cherry tomatoes are one of my favorite snacks. Pineapple is amazing. I just love fruit. I almost never eat candy with fruit flavors (unless it's sour), but the actual fruit is amazing.

I really hope someone can help me out with this. I was actually just about to post something about fruits lol. A few years ago I had this amazing fruit and no one has been able to tell me what it was called or where to get it and Ive looked everywhere!
Its round and green, about the size of a golf ball. Inside it has a really big pit and barely any fruit on it. The little fruit that it does have is sort of like a gummy gel around the huge pit. You basically just suck the stuff off and its really sweet. Ive been dying to know what this thing is called lol.

^ Lol, the first thing I thought of was an avocado, but those are much bigger than a golf ball.

Could it have been a longan?

bananas has gotta be my fruit of choice. never used to like them but eat them quite often now. excellent energy source, make me feel full for ages, so healthy. too much sugar though. only downfall with fruit, ended up cutting a lot of fruit outta my diet as it used to trigger sugar crashes and binge eating

^ Not all botanical fruits are full of sugar. Avocado, cucumber, zucchini, eggplant, ... Unless you're strictly talking culinary fruits, then yes, most of those have a lot of sugar. ;)

I personally can't eat a lot of (culinary) fruit after I haven't eaten for a long time. It makes my already low blood sugar feel worse (I have yet to test it with a glucometer my doctor gave me), almost like I'm on a roller coaster--I'm low, so I eat, it brings me up, then plummets me down. I plan on testing it one of these days. 8)

Thanks dude. It wasnt quite a longan, but I started looking on the longan wiki page and eventually came to my fruit. Turns out it was a spanish lime. Try these things, theyre amazing! I didnt know what to call it for months after so whenever describing it I just called it God's Fruit lol.

I used to work in produce at a grocery store. It was like going to heaven everyday. All the fruit you could eat. I got to taste some more exotic fruits. I'm not a fan of starfruit at all, I learned. Discovered honeycrisp apples there, which are now the only apple I really enjoy eating. Also discovered the art of salting pineapples and letting them sit for about 30 minutes (longer is better but when you're hungry you're hungry, yknow) and it cuts the acidity down and makes it a sweet, more enjoyable treat.

I'm surprisingly not a fan of honeydew melon or cantaloupe at all. Love watermelon, and yellow watermelon, though.

I tried mangoes a couple years ago and wasn't crazy about them. They taste very much like honeydews and melons, both of which I do not like.

Might be time for attempt number two!
that doesn't sound right! you must just be getting a shitty variety - Organic always tastes much better, but out of all the mangoes I tried the best was a Ghanaian organic mango - amazing - tying with these pakistani mangoes - orangey yellow skin, quite soft, but cut it open and it is outrageously fragrant, and it's so tasty and succulent, with an acidity that makes your tongue feel funny. YUMMMMMMM I'm starting to drool.

Your talking autulfo mangoes right? Those are crazy good!

Mango, kiwi, and avocado. I hated avocado until I was 16 or so, but I feel like my body's tried to make up for it in recent years by craving the stuff on a regular basis xD
