people always come to me when they want indepth political/economical/etc drunken conversations..
i love em.. but sometimes i wish for a stupid conversation. otherwise its computer stuff.

or as i recently found out, i get dragged along cause i'm normally the one who will join someone else in a drunken escapade. be it running naked down a beach/street, or something more sinister
 
I seem to be an expert on giving relationship advice, which actually helps the people I dish it out to.

Funnily enough, I can never implement this good advice in my own relationships. Probably why I've been single for going on 2 years now.

Casual sex isn't seeming to cut it anymore...

I'm also an expert on masturbation. Those who know me will second that lol

Also cheese. Using cheese in conjunction with foods you never would have imagined.

Hmm... seems to be pretty common in this thread, but I would definitely consider myself a master of random useless trivia. Does anyone know what a funambulist is without having to look it up?

Accounting... this is the field I study, and am currently employed in. It's really geeky, but I actually like it.

I studied Finance as well, but I try to remember as little of it as possible :)

Rock Music, in particular, Australian Rock Music, from about 1970 to present.
If the song is ever played on Triple M, or 2WS, chances are I know the lyrics, and other related crap.

I am a cricket nut. I spend half of each weekend playing it, and watch it alot. Cricket trivia from about 1987 - 2004 is certainly one of my strengths.

Kayaking... until I hurt my shoulder, I was pretty good at this. Definitely need to get back into it soon and hit the whitewater.

having lead a roughish childhood, i experienced a lot of stuff and can share my experiences in getting over it and becoming a (semi) successful person..



completely unrelated to my first quality, but i am a first class bullshit artist too..... i can talk for at least 1 minute on any topic...

Other than being an expert procrastinator, im the sort of 'jack of all trades' guy.

In the classroom, people used to ask me a lot about economics.

On the court, people ask me about weight training, basketball techniques (even though im quite shit at it) and general fitness stuff.

But i wouldn't consider those two to be my 'talents' or expertise.

Hehe I am the expert on Internet/computers and also the expert on relationships, not really girl boy ones but more friend relationships, for example how to get rid of an annoying person who wont leave you alone etc.
 
oh, something i forgot...

like musby, i can talk for hours about absolutely nothing. In english one time we had to give 3 minute impromptu speaches on a topic given to us by our teacher... my topic was to talk about the little plastic bits at the end of one's shoelaces... ;)
 
I guess I was once best known for designing, repairing and modifying electronic gear. I received great appreciation in the area of vacuum tube equipment, and to be honest, it's really the only area of electronics I still like to dabble in. Lots of high voltages with valves =D
 
Failing. I am *SO* good at that. Oh! And overestimating my ability, thats another good one.

Apparantly, I can talk shit about lots of things for ages. Like history, and drugs, and....... no... thats it.

We are an office of about 14 employees, and for some reason everyone seems to come to me when something's broken like the printer or photocopier etc... I have NO expertise in fixing machines, but usually it's something ridiculously simple like a paper jam or something & I feel like saying "You people have double degrees & yet you don't even know how to clear a paper jam?".. it's strange.

Oh and I'm pretty good at picking up really heavy shit. Well not so much now days because I have chronic fatigue, but back in the day, oh boy.
 
I have been spending alot of time reading in AUS DD, and I think that Phase_dancer, Biscuit and Wazza are quite the intellect. Although I completely understand what they are saying in concept and in technicalities, I wish I had the abilty to express it like they do.

But for (my ego), I am Hospitality Management have been for ages, and soon to be a recruitment consultant. I'm the person that motivates the group and make sures the company runs smoothly. I make sure there's co-ordination, co-operation and most of all customer sastisfaction accross the board.

I would be a recruitment consultant now, but didnt wear a tie at the interview. I have no idea what I was thinking. Its like haveing your cock hanging out of your zipper, you have no chance at getting the job, no matter how good you are.

My area of expertise would have to be...

Tying shoe laces. Since I was 3. Everything else I'm pretty average at. Except welding. Now that I rock at. Seriously actually. I can do most things, but average-ly.
