yellow ethylphenidate

I have seen some Ethylphenidate crystals being sold that is yellow.

I was wondering if there is a reason why its yellow and not clear like most crystals that are being sold?

Hi, welcome to BL

It is probably a little bit unpure and the chunks are quite big so in terms of appearance discoloration "adds up" cause you see more of it at once localized so to speak.

Maybe it is piperidine-2-thione, but not even sure if that would be yellow.
