In the end I'm a PC gamer. It offers more controller options (full keyboard, mouse, can even use a wired Xbox controller) and better graphics, and a whole slew of other perks. It also has the best options for simulators and RTS games, two of my favorite genres in gaming.

I have an Xbox 360 which I used to play a lot, but it sits unused these days.

I don't really understand the purpose of consoles (unless you really want to play an exclusive title) when a PC can do pretty much anything a console can do better. You can set up a PC in your living room and plug in into your TV, if that's what you want. You can use a wireless console-style controller. You can decide exactly how much you want to spend on graphics horsepower. You can buy it pre-made, or you can have the satisfaction of building it yourself.
