Xanax

Sorry for hijacking your thread jacksoncs25, but I tried some of the alpraz i got for free from a friend (20mg in seedy .25mg pills, 80 of them), and I think, although they're totally legit, coming from a pharmacy near her home, that they're far from the quality of the real Upjohns. Bah, anyway they were free, beggars can't be choosers. (I've heard that the Teva brand are shit, fortunately the majority of them come from another well known french firm). Sorry if I'm off topic.
 
Yeah, but I've read some threads on the opiophile forum, they were discussing different brands. But you're right, I think it's more in the head than in the pill.
 
I think I'm more disappointed because they're only .25mg pills. I've never seen the 2mg bars, so I can just dream about them ;)
 
Jay I feel like my eyes have grit In them because I can hardly sleep, get savage anxiety also on wd, I didn't explain very well
 
I got the shakes like Michael J. Fox when I dropped my xanax dose from 3mg to 1mg overnight. That week sucked. Now when I dropped from 1-.75, then .75 to .5 I got a little shaky (mostly my left arm/hand, I'm a lefty maybe why I noticed more), a weird headache, and 2 hours of sleep a night for the first week of dropping each dose.

In my experience, Ativan really didn't do much. And if you're use to Xanax, it probably won't for you either. I would try my hardest to stay on the xanax if I were you.
 
Weird. I had klonopin WD when I decided to not take it to get high on opiates. I was still taking xanax though. I never want to go through that again. Maybe he should start you on the ativan and taper you off your xanax at the same time. You can actually WD from one benzo even if you're on a different one! Good luck!
 
No, you do not withdraw from certain benzos if on a combo.

Taking two benzos at once made your tolerance to all benzos go up.
And now you take one benzo away, that just means your tolerance was from the effect of both benzos at the same time, not from one in particular.

So, you take away one, and what you are taking is not enough for your tolerance.

Adding another benzo to taper down another one is ridiculous, because regardless...
... You are on a benzo!!!!!!!!!
