Ive been taking about 3-4 mg a day for the past week and a half and im stopping abruptly. I have gabapentin, not that I think il have a sezuire but I was wondering if it mite help...and also basically if im going to have any "physical" withdrawl from that amount of use. Thanks for any help

It really depends on your history... If you've been dependent before you may have some mild to moderate withdrawal. On a "clean slate" (ie. Never been dependent/no deep history with benzos) I wouldn't expect much more than some insomnia or possible rebound anxiety for a day or two, if that.

Gabapentin IME takes the edge off benzo withdrawal but by no means makes the process all that much easier. I was loaded up on neurontin during etizolam withdrawal and it didn't really start helping until I was over the acutes. Many people swear by it though so your gonna have to find out for yourself, it should give some degree of benefit however.

I was told it takes 14 days of taking benzo to have dependency and or withdrawal from it. That's what a psychiatrist told me but everyone is different

Listen to your body. It will tell you whether you'll have trouble or not and what it needs. If you so have symptoms of withdrawal I would strongly recommend finding someone to stay with you for a few days while you detox just in case you do have a seizure or some other complication.
