Xanax is faster and is gone sooner. I don't think either are euphoric. There are a few euphoric benzos I know of, namely diazepam (valium) and etizolam (no brand name, as far as I know it's not prescribed anywhere). I hear flunitrazepam (in other words, "roofies") is also very euphoric, probably moreso than others. But I haven't tried it.
