xanax law?

I know that there's a law that makes you unable to get your refill before a month passes, but what if you have a new prescription? Can you get that filled even if the month hasn't passed?

Unless you are doing one through insurance and one without, no. But, you shouldn't be trying to do this anyway, and this title is misleading because the prescription drug laws (I can't even get non-controlled drugs before a month if it has a refill, not sure how specific that is to my state) don't just apply to xanax (alprazolam) but a variety of drugs.

is xanax only an american brand? anyway, this question is really just about how to double up on your script. if it isn't, leave a message on your doc's machine; s/he'll let you know.
