Xanax easing coke comedown?

Most of us have been down this road before. Did an 8 ball with 3 of your closest friends, and now you're stuck wide awake and sleep is no where in site.
I've tried smoking herb to ease the comedown, but the whole "speedy/ wired" feeling makes me feel like utter shit. This combo makes it feel like my heart is ready to burst out of my chest.
Tried knocking back a few shots of hard liquour in the past, but all that did was tear up my stomach.
Heard Xanax does wonders for typical harsh coke comedowns. How successful is this? What does one feel like while on Xanax? It's not gonna drive me all loopy if I decide to take it for a coke comedown, is it?? Any comments would much be appreciated.

xanax will get rid of all the anxiety from a comedown and will help you fall asleep(dependin on the dose it could knock you out prettyy fas)
again dependin on the dose xanax will make you feel drunk/relaxed,and if you are one of the lucky ones you may feel euphoria.
so to sum it up BENZOS(xanax ,ativan ,klonopin)are a must for comedowns,2mg is plenty to get you to sleep
 
i NEVER ever ever ever - do coke without xanax or valium.....its great to be able to knock yourself out when the party is over....
it always makes me feel great...not loopy or anything like that, but just perfectly relaxed....

Xanax is the shit when it comes to comimg down from coke. It makes you feel nice & mellow. You heart stops pounding away & the sweating subsides. Then out of nowhere bam, you pass out & fall a sleep. Good shit...

HEY, I'M GETTING A LITTLE CONFUSED NOW, SO IS IT SAFE TO TAKE A XANAX TO COME DOWN FROM COCAINE OR NOT, I READ THAT IT WAS OKAY BUT NOW I READ ON THIS PAGE THAT YOU'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO TAKE ANY ANTIDRESSANTS OR IS THAT ONLY IF YOU MIX IT WITH ECSTACY?

Xanax isn't an anti-depressant, it is an anti-anxiety medication. It is safe and effective to ease coke comedowns.
Taking Ecstasy while on SSRIs (anti-depressants) is to be avoided, but I don't think it would matter for coke.

I have another question, I know I'm a pain but this is fun. You all say it's okay to take Xanax after coming down from cocaine but I also drink while I'm doing the coke, is that okay?
 
when you drink and do coke at the same time, your body actually metabolizes a completely new chemical, ethylcocaine, which is a lot more neurotoxic. or something like that.

You meant cocaethylene. It is not particularily neurotoxic, as far as I know, but it does add to the cardiotoxic effects of cocaine and alcohol.
You should be very cautious about combining alcohol and benzos such as xanax. You should only combine low doses of each (for example, two beers and .5 mg xanax would be alright)...more could lead to respiratory depression/failure, coma, or death.
 
What about taking an ambien after coke and drinking, or do you guys suggest anything to take after coming down that wouldn't be dangerous to mix with coke and alcohol, maybe Tylenol PM or something to knock you out?
 
Tylenol PM after drinking should be avoiding... the pills have acetominophen in them (sp?) and that is bad in combination with alcohol.. adds to the toxicity levels in the liver.
I take diphenhydramine (benedryl) on coke comedowns when I have nothing left to take.. but xanax/valium is cool. I prefer valium, because it gives me more of a sedated feeling and knocks me off to sleep. Only time I drink on yay is on the comedown... drinking while jacked never allows you to feel drunk, in my experiences... just makes you mellow, to say the least. Hope this helps.

Please be very careful of taking benzos when coming down off of coke if you have been drinking. In Jan of 2001 I had been doing coke, drinking, and then took xanax. I ended up waking up two days later from a coma in a hospital on a breathing machine. Had it not been for a friend watching me and doing CPR I would have died. The doctors said the coke and alcholol made "cocaethelyne"sp? and that the xanax did it for me. Since then Ive only done coke 2 times in the past years, and i just deal with the comedown cause Im too scared. Coke and xanax on a comedown is fine, but please dont mix it with alchol. It can be deadly, trust me, I experienced it. Hope my info helps.

i dont do coke in excessive amounts but when i get gettered on meth i like to take a big glass of milk and seconal...xanax klonopin ghb valium seconal quaalude halicon are all good when comeing down off of stimulants.
