if 10mg of xanax didn't do shit for me today would it be a non blackout dose to take 6mg of xanax and 150mg of valium tomorrow

Did you mean to say 100mg didn't do anything? I really hope you aren't thinking of taking those doses just because you didn't feel 10mg.

In my experience, 150mg of Diazepam is roughly equal to 8mg alprazolam. I'd go with 4-5mg Alprazolam and maybe 80mg Diazepam. Start with the Vals, and then start adding the bars until you get where you want to be. I'm in the same boat my friend. Benzos just don't touch me like they used to, after kicking Methadone I seem to have replaced my opiate habit for a benzo habit, which is quite possibly worse. As I detox my Subs I seem to take more and more Benzos. 6-8mg alprazolam gets me well. And I'm afraid to take a recreational dose for fear of further raising my ungodly tolerance, due to the fact that I need the meds for therapeutic purposes, and to simply function at this point, which I recognize has gotten out of control.

I would start with the valium and only 100mg (which is still a massive dose) and then add to it as needed.
Remember equivalency charts dont take into account the differing effects profiles of different benzos. For instance, 1mg of lorazepam is equal to 10mg diazepam but diazepam is more sedating at that dose for most people then lorazepam.
Please remember that diazepam has a long halflife aswell so in large doses accumulation is a real risk.

Depends on the dose and how often you take it (ie. Accumulation), but I find diazepams effects noticeably last for about 8hrs with a decent dose (about 15-20mg for me).
Alot of people find diazepam to be one of the most euphoric benzos readily available, so you might not need anywhere near as much as you think you will.
I also think mixing alprazolam with it will end badly, the alprazolam likely wont do much more euphoria-wise but will add alot of drunken/blackout side effects.

I think a combo that large would make you black out, even with your tolerance. As for how long the valium will relax you, surely you have enough experience to know how you will react to that dose. It's relatively subjective so i don't think we know betted than you do how you react to benzos.

If you are regularly taking doses that large and are not feeling effects, you have already built enough tolerance to benzos that you are at a significant seizure risk if can no longer access them. I soberly recommend that you discuss this with a physician, and get a script for anti- seizure medication to have on hand for those instances.

That being said, there is a difference between Xanax and Valium with respect to the amount of time it remains in your system. 150mg is a hefty dose of Valium off the jump. I would recommend trying a smaller dose and then stepping it up accordingly. I would absolutely not recommend mixing the two, or adding ETOH to the equation as they are all acting on the same receptors, and you stand a large chance of respiratory failure.

Whatever you decide, please be careful and have fun. Keep your phone in hand through the venture in case you find yourself in a situation of 'forgetting to breath' so you can have help on the way before the situation gets to dire.

Kind Regards :)

adding alcohol will potentiate the effects of the benzos, but be very careful, things start getting out of hand before you know it and then usually a massive black out follows.

I would advise that you do not use alcohol while on those levels of benzos.

Diazepam/valium is a much longer acting benzo, with a half life of 18-200 hours. it doesnt produce much euphoria or 'relaxation' or whatever you want to call it unless you have access to IV diazepam, due to the slow onset times.

if you are not feeling the effects from that high dosage of alprazolam then I would suggest that you either secure a line of diazepam to avoid seizures as mentioned above if you have to taper off, or you seek a detox programme, the levels you are at can be dangerous and even life threatening if you had to go cold turkey.

stay safe.
