Xanax after alcohol

I drank 3 gulps of a smirnoff ice tea a bout an hour go.. and I'm not gonna be taking my 1MG of Xanax until around 6 hours from now, should I be fine to go or will the alcohol still have a negative effect?

You're playing it extra safe with this spacing. Especially with such a girly beverage . I'd be very surprised if you experienced a blackout or anything with a six hour time period between the two. This advice is for someone who has next to no tolerance to benzos, I'm not sure if you're prescribed them or not. If you are than you're even safer.

You should be fine just dont take anymore than 1mg for a first time user who has alcohol in their system.

Besides 1mg should hit you pretty nicely

I had a 0.5 after having maybe 2 or 3 beers, no ill effects or new effects
never any more (either alcohol or more xanax) but at least for my body size (6 foot, 160lbs) / benzo tolerance, that particular combination had no significant effect.

Just a few weeks ago I took 1 mg xanax with 5 or 6 shots of smirnoff (plain vodka) and didn't experience a black out so I doubt you will lol...
