Xanax 0.5mg with cream ointment with alcohol in it?

Hi - this is a rather silly question but might ne worth asking though.
I took 0.5mg of xanax in the morning and another 0.5mg later in the afternoon and I have this ointment cream with an antibiotic for my severe boil on my leg.
Now the ointment contains 90% alcohol which I guess helps the absorption with the antibiotic in it.
Will I have the additive depressant effects after taking xanax and then applying this ointment cream?

Now Im scared a bit....I applied the gel only on the infected boil.

Im afraid the alcohol will absorb through the skin and have dangerous additive effects on the xanax.
I think the alcohol form is Ethanol.

no your fine, while that cream may have a high concentration it still is only a minute amount of alcohol.

Also, I always wondered about this when using mouthwash too while I am on a depressant drug like Xanax which has high alcohol content in it too.
So even if I do NOT swallow it, the alcohol might absorb through the gums esp. when you have bleeding gums.

It's just such a small amount of alcohol. Both in the cream and in the mouthwash.

You arent getting any significant alcohol from either, unless you drink about a quart of mouthwash. DRINK. Not rinse your mouth, actually POUR the mouthwash INTO your stomache. An ointment with alcohol is not going to affect you. Quit worrying . You are gonna be fine .

Lol you guys are tripping balls, and it's not like even if you do combine them it's automatic danger. I as well as many others have combined alcohol and xanax plenty of times to come out perfect fine, and more than .5mg btw. The danger comes when you mix them 'some' people forget how fucked up they are or how much xanax they took and keep dosing more and more until they get in trouble with the law, or their breathing stops. I how ever always pay attention to my doses and stuff, anyways even if you did ingest alcohol with .5mg you have nothing to worry about.
