Is it worth gettin the 60GB or will arcade play any game nice and smoothly?

I ask because there seems to be some trouble with Fable2 and my mate thinks gettin a 60GB will solve the problem (Fable2 causes X-Box to crash and has been known to cause the Red Ring of Death). I do not want to buy an Arcade and find out that they're now making games that will cause it to crash and die!

I'm gonna hopefully gettin X-Box360 for xmas and wanted to know:

Is it worth gettin 60GB over Arcade?

I hear the 60gb has an extra couple dabs of epoxy to help prevent shit from moving around inside when things heat up, when you're really pressing the machine to its limits. dunno if it does anything noticeable, but might be worth it. I'm going for the 60gb for xmas myself lol

right, thats an attachment though.
the internal workings of the unit are exactly the same.

Would extra space on hard drive not allow for better gameplay / performance?

I honestly don't know.. im a nub.

with the latest dashboard update you can install games to the hard drive (still need the disk in though obv) which speeds up loading times for some games.

the new arcades are vstarting to ship with 256mb flash storage but i'm not sure if it's available in the shops yet

they are
i just bought one 2 weeks ago. they have HDMI hookups, a controller (my analog sticks are squeaky) and a memory stick.
when my old one gets back from repair im selling it back to gamespot. im sick of the RRoD. the new one seems a lt quieter too.

well shit man, my original 360 got the red ring of death 3 days after i hooked it up. two years later and its doing the same thing. the newer 360s dont get the red ring because they changed the internal parts.
plus, my new tv has hdmi hookups ;)

I got the RROD about 4 days after Ibought my 360. But I only get the rrod 1 out of every 5 boot ups.... wtf is up with that? I just start it up again and it works fine. I bought mine last Christmas when it was hard to find one so I didnt return it.... Well because it always worked when I started it again, it was hard to get another one, and last year this time they said 60% of all xbox's being shipped were failing within a year. It still does it. Once every 5 times or so.... anyone know why it would do this for so long and not give out? (No jinx please!) I heard Microsoft extended free fixes on all 360s purchased as long as you have receipt. And I heard it was somewhat limited 2 years I believe, due to the LARGE volume of fucked up machines....
