Heroin,
I thought we could be friends at first. You gave me things that no one else could give me. You gave me the comfort I needed when other people would call me names, and spit on me. You didn't care what others thought. I loved you, I spent everything on you.
We spent many days and nights together shooting the shit about old times when I only spent time with you in the evenings, when you moved in with me I thought we would spend the rest of our lives together.
I really thought we would be together forever, grow old together, and even die together. Things never go the way I wanted and you knew that but didn't care about my feelings.
You were ALWAYS there H, and I will NEVER forget what you did for me, I am grateful to have met you before then now.
Our friendship is over, and sadly I wont be coming back. Hope you find success in other places then here.

(if you haven't gotten it yet.. I wrote a letter to my DOC, which is Heroin.)

care to write a letter to your DOC?, or anything that took over you life. weather it be drugs,booze,sex,food.etc.
 
I don't have anything to publicly add to this thread, I would just like to express to you that this is a good idea for a thread. If more people would be more public about their vices it could be an interesting sticky
 
Great idea for a thread. I guess I am not ready to say farewell to my DOC (benzos) as I am still tapering, but I am almost ready to say farewell to gambling, had my last flutter yesterday, and am determined to make that my last. Will write a letter in here to say farewell if I can last another month without gambling.
