Well, almost to day 30, and wow. I cannot believe that what all the people (thanks by the way) said is true, shit does get better. My knees are still killing me, but that is most likely a "real pain" from arthiritis or something. I cannot say why I have not been on much, court ordered not to see certain people, but when it comes down to it, I love my wife too much and fuck the court.

One big question I have for anyone who reads this. If you have a chance, because your in'laws are trying to work some angel, would you take the full blunt of a certain DA and let you wife go scott free if you could. think that is what they are tryng to do, and I am all for it. I can handle whatever they dish out, and I know that my cute little wife can't do "camp, vacation" again, those few days that she was in there, they were nice to her, but it is not for her. (She grew up in the nicest part of South Bay, if you know where I am from you know the place called Beautiful so to say. I grew up in the worst part of the South Bay or SD even, again if you know where I am from you know where that is. I hung out/ grew up with South Siders Sorenos and 38th ST., and just the tip of the iceberg.

So anyways, looks like she can get off, I might go to camp

First of all, congratulations on your one month mark!! That is an amazing feat as most people don't make it past a week. Once you make it past that first month, your chances of relapsing diminish substantially but that's not to say that it isn't still very possible. However, each day you add will make you that much stronger so keep up the good work and be very proud of yourself! It gets even better with time =)

Secondly, I don't think jail/prison is for anyone :P If you feel like you can take it all, then by all means do it but if both of you are guilty of your charges then maybe both of you should serve the time. Then again, if she's already done this and it didn't wake her up to the point of not ending up in the same situation again, it might be a waste of time on her part. What are pros and cons of each decision? Pick whichever ends up creating the fewest cons, of course. I suppose having only one person with probation + a longer record and such is better than two when it comes down to it.

Congrats on one month. I've also continually been amazed at the great things that continue to happen even by staying clean a short while.

Keep it up.
