I've only ever come across unisex bathrooms at clubs and events (usually just stalls and not dedicated bathrooms). I don't have a problem with using them but I do see why women might have issues with it. Granted it may be rare, but there would be cases of creeps hanging around in them, cameras, etc. Really just the same issues they may already come across except those kinds of guys have a legitimate reason to be in a unisex bathroom.

gender/sex issues will never be properly addressed. its one of major dividing factors in life.

I dunno, on a personal level, it causes me no issues or divisiveness unless the other person wants to to make it an issue. I don't take someone's gender or sex into account when interacting with them as such. Nor do my friends.

If someone else wants to make an issue out of it, well, that's their own choice I suppose.

Well seems like there's a fair bit of discussion here on this topic. I for one wouldn't mind if that was the case. Having been to a number of music festivals and the like where girls line up and go in the guys bathrooms anyway because the lines are so long. So why not just make them all unisex. Especially at these sorts of public events.

Mhmm, at disneyland I always use the mens. I can pass off as a little girl. O=)

So, I was at a club last night where there are male/female washrooms (but I often see males inside the females washrooms, I dunno why). My boyfriend has told me how disgusting the guys washroom is. I'm not going to describe it that much but it sounded terrible! Some males do NOT keep things clean in their washroom. Not saying all - but definitely some of them! It's gross. I like the level of cleanliness in the female washroom. While they are far from "clean", they are a HUGE step up for the males washroom. I've found that in multiple clubs. But the gay club that I sometimes go to, with co-ed washrooms, it has very few problems. So that's always nice.
I have absolutely no problems with females and males in one washroom. The problem is that some males make it disgusting. And I don't want that to come into the female's where females HAVE TO sit on the toilet seat to go to the washroom. Lucky guys don't have to !!! ...

I think it should be fine why not? besides there's gonna be more option and itll be better not to be in the line up if the women's washroom is full :)
