Would you take drugs when you're sick?

No, I would not take drugs when I'm sick, and not because I don't want to do drugs, but because I just cannot stomach the thought of it until I'm better.

I bought 28 OC 40s once, the most I had ever bought at one time, and I immediately came down with a really, really bad case of mono without having the opportunity to touch even one of them first. I ended up selling almost all of them to friends.

Anything but a stomach sickness opiates are effective. marijuana is good when your sick.

yea pot is great when you have a head cold...but you either feel 100% better after of 100% worse...i think for me it was because i smoked during the onset...but i smoke all the time so i dunno

Indeed. Medicines are drugs, after all

But if mean psychoactive, recreational drugs? The then it would depend on the severity of the illness. When I have a common cold I often smoke some cannabis and maybe take 2-4mg alprazolam to help me sleep(I find alprazolam to be the best benzo for sleep).
However, I would certainly not use something like a psychedelic if I was under the weather at all.

Well, I didn't take the acid, and didn't even go out. The sickness never fully materialized though. I am grateful and hope it isn't still lurking for me.
