i know about using sterile everything. So I am using spring bottled water to scrape my spore print onto. The water is cold, would this kill the spore? I'm not familiar about if cold or warm or hot water has any effect on the spore. anyone know?

First off I highly doubt your using sterile everything. Did you pressure cook your syringes? And also, in any form syringe preparation you use DISTILLED water. Distilled... Not spring, ozmoz gen, or any of that crap or anything other than Distilled.

eh? my syringes come sterilized. the distilled water part lost me. isn't spring water a lot cleaner?

No. You dont want cleaner water.... you want water with nothing in it. Something contaminate free with a neutral PH, ie. Distilled Water.

Erm... Put some tap water in a shot glass and microwave it for 10 minutes on high. Suck the microwaved boiling water into the syringe and flush it it several times with boiling water.

Boil more water in the micro in a shot glass. Let it cool in the micro. Scrape off spore print into cooled water and suck up the water with spores in it into sterilized syringe.

Thats how i made a spore syringe in the past and it always worked with no contams.

Also you dont need a pressure cooker to sterilize all you need is a large stock pot and a rack in the bottom. Half submerge the jars and boil it rapidly. The steam should sterilize and cook everything in the jars. So.. Do this with empty jars first then once dry and cooled in the stock pot. Fill with substrate and cover tops of jars with lids OR tinfoil to keep the moisture in and repeat. Allow to cool. Inject with spores through the seal on the jars.

Be sure every surface is sterile tho. I used detol or bleach and water in a spray bottle and spray the room before prep to kill any airbourn contams.

But be warned a constant supply of shrooms can really complicate things.

in regards to the temperature of the water, it really doesnt matter, as long as its not boiling or anything. cold is fine, remember these are spores, supposedly they survive all kinds of environments. so cold is no problem for them.

spring water, if it is microbe free, should be fine. i used controlled bottled spring water several times with no problems (usually i just used a syringe to extract it so i would avoid opening it too much to air). just make sure you are getting it in sterile conditions. if in doubt, use distilled water, or water boiled several minutes (ideally should be 30mins iirc)...

Uhh you dont need to use distilled water, theres really no benefit at all...you can use tap or spring water, it doesnt make a differece once its been boiled and sterilized....and you cant use cold water if its not sterilised. You will get contaminates spore syringes that will be useless. Noid droid posted the proper process, use that method and you will always get constent positive results.
