if you are so set, on distillation why not simply start a small still? You have the basic things needed, and its not hard to make whiskey with a very high proof..... Just some basic knowledge on what is involved in making mash, fermentation, and cooking off the alcohol... which are all really quite simple things...
the idea of extracting alcohol from other substances, isn't the brightest...

Please don't try to distill mouthwash in an attempt to get fucked up. I am sure you could get some booze if you tried. There is a list a mile long of reasons to not drink mouthwash and vanilla extract. That seems damn near as bad as trying to drink isopropyl alcohol. Just a bad idea.

If you really think it will be cheaper to buy a case of mouthwash versus buying a $3.00 gallon of nasty ass heaven hill... You may want to take a step back and evaluate your addiction
