OK,
Last night me and 2 friends did up a ball in about 1 1/2 hours. Then I had to go home. After being home for awhile, i began to come down. By this time i was lying in my bed. I started sweating alot and i felt very cold, no matter what i did i couldnt get warm or stop sweating. About 15 minutes later i began to get sick to my stomach. Now ive done coke more than a few times and never felt like this before, is what i went through some kind of withdrawl?

ok if you wake up with a hangover from alcohol that is a mild form of withdrawl. So use your brain on this one i think the answer is obvious. Some ppl just love to post......

Hangover is not withdrawl. Some people just love to post horse shit.

A "hangover" is not from alcohol withdrawl.
It is caused when the alcohol poisions the body there-fore leaving u with a hangover.

Alcohol withdrawl is more along the lines of tremons and hallucinations.............

To answer the original question

Was that a form of cocaine withdrawal or not? Again the answer depends on a few things. 1) how long you have been using 2) how much you normally use 3) the method in which you normally used AND 4) the method you and your friends used that night.

Since you say you and your friends divided an 8 ball, that means you did approximately 1 and 1/4 gram to yourself, maybe a litttle more, maybe a little less. My guess is that it most likely was NOT W/D's. Sounds more like beginners reaction to a bit more coke than you're used to. Granted, I'm only basing this on my own personal experience as well as those numerous experiences told to me by other users.

Are you normally a snorter, but went to smoking or IVing with your friends? I had 7 years on again off again experience with coke. The first few times I snorted and felt practically nothing other than numb sinuses. The next few times I got the short acting high, but I noticed sometimes would make me puke. Than another time 5 years into my using, I did about 3/4 gram to myself in a 24 hour period. After the high, I got some chest pains, and I couldn't stop puking.

I became concerned enough to confide in a Dr. who was a coworker of mine I KNEW was cool. After asking a few questions like "Was that more than you normally take?" to which I said "yes," he said "Well if you want I can call in some compazine for you to manage the vomitting, but please be careful cause I've seen people come in with cardiac arrest." Warning heeded. I was sure to increase dosage only slightly after that and I never had that problem again until the night I spent with Steve.

Make a long story short, Steve an ex bf from when Jesus was a baby, had IVed me with coke on 3 different occasions. Since all the other times I had snorted only, I'm sure that was the reason 2 out of the 3 times it made me sick. Steve told me that was normal, not to worry, that it would go away in a few hours, which it did. Eventually I quit coke because at the end of my 7 years and chasing the high and wanting to maintain it, I went through an 8 ball (snorting) in a 3 day period.

I finally reached the point, where it just wouldn't go up my nose anymore. I had no desire to suck glass dick, which was the next step. I waited 1 day and snorted a little and felt like SHIT. That was the end of my coke career. A few months passed, then I was introduced to a good friend named Crystal whose last name is Meth. The rest as they say is history.

End of cocaine chapter for yours truly. Hope this helps.

1) About 8-9 months
2) Anything from a teaner to a ball usually split between 2 of us somtimes 3
3)Usually snorting, just now ive started to freebase
4)We snorted and freebased

you probably just over indulged a bit and your body is trying to tell you to chill. If anything i would think it would be a sort of overload (wouldn't want to say overdose, more like a warning sign from your body that you are getting close...) especially since you're probably ingesting a bit more cocaine in a lesser amount of time than your body's used to (w/ the freebasing recently and everything). Plus any adverse reactions will be more prominent after you crash, unless youve done a god awful amount at once.

Nothin to worry about, these symptoms will probably disappear w/ more use.. downside to that is, well, a coke binge. Coke and other stimulants (besides meth) give too much of a crash and/or hang over to be useful IMO.

And btw, cocaine really wont produce any physical withdrawal symptoms.

I disagree

Compared to opiates, no coke doesn't have any WD's so to speak. However, I choose to term these symptoms WD's or coming down. Whatever lable you choose, it's certainly not fun. They are:

1. Complete feeling of apathy.
2. Inability to experience any sort of pleasure.
3. Jonesin big time for more coke to avoid the crash AND to get back the
feeling of being on top of the world for an hour or so.
4. Severe depression, not wanting to do anything.

The good news: Like the coke high, these don't last terribly long compared to opiate WD's.

Um, that last part is far from the truth. When I quit doing coke I had the classic symptoms of psych withdrawal: apathy, fatigue, irritability, headaches, depression, cravings, restlessness, and these symptoms lasted around 6 months. The intensity of these symptoms was EXTREME (I was coming off a long, 5+gram daily habit). Also, bad psych withdrawal WILL manifest as physical symptoms. I had horrible headaches, muscle pain, and stomach cramps. I hate that everyone downplays cocaine withdrawal and writes it off as just a minor annoyance. Granted, it's not half as bad or painful as opioid WD, it's no picnic and can be just as debilitating as opioid WD just in different ways.

^^I agree, i think its more psychologically addicting than opiates/opioids--they're addicitive in the sense that yea, it feels good to get fucked up; (or to avoid physical w/d if you're a junky) like w/ a lot of other drugs.

But w/ cocaine and other stimulants, its just impossible to feel alright... or normal; when you're crashing or when you're experiencing extreme w/d. You just cant avoid that shitty, depressive/apathetic feeling even if you subcomb to a small half gram or so (at least in my experience) after months of abstaining.
