Opioids Would taking a few painkillers 4 months after I quit send me back into withdrawals?

I was never really mentally addicted to opiates, just physically. I never have cravings for it, at all. But I have a severe toothache that is KILLING me. I can't even sleep, and I can't get into the dentist for a few days. I took 4 ibprofins and the pain is still severe. But I'm kind of afraid to take an opiate because I'm terrified of going even through mild withdrawals. DO you think I would experience withdrawals if I just took about 2 or 3 10mg lortabs

If you took 30mg of hydrocodone once you will not experience w/d.

You might enjoy it so much you become addicted to it though, but I can only speculate on that. Not a certainly, unlike the fact you won't go into w/d. You might feel a little down the next day or even during the next week, but that will probably have more to do with feeling so good with the opioids in your system, then the transition to no opioids in you and the blandness of life setting back in...

I'm not worried about getting addicted to it again. I never want to go through those withdrawals ever again. I still have a few in my medicine cabinet, that I don't even crave.

K, yea, no worries then. If it's hurting that bad, go for it. That's what the pills are actually meant to be used for. Haha, a guy in OD taking his/her meds as prescribed!?!?!! Amazing :p ;)

quite the freak occurrence. like lightening striking
