I'm tapering pregabalin really slow and have come down from 600 to 35
0 and I am pleased, but I am ill every day.
My anxiety which is just a normal problem one day, turns into a hysterical catastrophe the next.
Although I use immodium and buscopan for IBS, i'm needing more and more pills, and I have still got 350mg pregab to taper from.
I've never been tempted to go back up to 600, because I want off this stuff.
I'm not prescribed it, but the sweats and IBS are becoming unmanageable.
I;ve lost interest in everything and am hardly sleeping, so I am up a lot.
I am sweating loads, and even in a UK feb winter, I need the fan on in bed.
I feel really weak, I don't want to not be able to function as I live alone.
I have had to reduce my cut to 1mg a day, but I don't want to be on pregabalin next year, I can't afford that.
I worry about things I dont normally think about and i am a hysterical nervous wreck. i ovbiously dont want to get any worse the lower I go.
I don't want to cold turkey, I will learn from others mistakes, this is not the way.
Any suggestions, experiences, tips, things you have found helpful, I would like to hear from all people who have tapered off pregab, and experienced withdrawals - thankyou
