Opioids Would doing codiene a few times after 5 -6 months clean of opiates reset PAWS?

I was addicted to heroin on and off for roughly 3 years. last quit april 6 2013. So i have been clean from opiates for about 6 months. I recently did some codeine, 400mgs at a time, probably only about 5 times and spread apart with about a week or 2 break in between each use. This all happening over the past month or so. I am looking to quit opiates and im worried that this small codeine usage could of effected the PAWS. Im 20 years old so my brain recovers faster i believe.

If it did effect it a little, there is no way it could regress to the state i was in when just quiting heroin right? I should also mention i wasnt a heavy heroin user. At my worst i was only doing .1g once a day, sometimes with days in between without using.

Im just paranoid because since i first started codiene ive been craving drugs more and having minor anxiety. So im not sure if this is related to PAWS or just the fact drugs are on my mind more often and that is making me anxious from having cravings. I really dont wanna have to go through the PAWS again....need some reassurance i didnt fuck up to bad.

Well, I don't believe you'll have to go thru PAWS again, but if you continue taking codeine you'll have more chances of restarting your withdrawal cycle.

My advice is to stop doing any opioids/opiates ASAP. The only way to fully avoid PAWS is to not take any opioids.

If you experience anxiety, I'd rather take a benzodiazepine (maybe Alprazolam or Lorazepam) than the drug that caused that anxiety. Of course, you might not be able to get them...

Regards,
Dr. Opium.
