Worrying heart rate on 5-meo-dalt

Hi, I recently acquired a batch of 5-meo-dalt. I smoked approx 20mg ( shady scales only go to 2 decimal places) and had a worryingly fast and slightly irregular heart rate for the duration of the high. Anyone else experienced this, if so does route of administration have any effect on this?

It is something that happens with that drug and also with some other recreational drugs that i know of from personal experiences.

There are certainly plenty of serotonin receptors in the heart for agonists to mess with.

if you measured 0.02g on your scales I very much doubt you got 20mg. You should weight 4/8 times the weight you need and divide down by eye if your scales are of poor quality, i.e. weighed 160mg then divided it in half by eye three times to get 20mg. This would reduce your margin of error significantly.

From your post it does not sound like you have smoked it before. When trying a new chemical, OR a new ROA start low and build up

Flippingtop I tried oral first but got little to no effect (started off at approx 20mg and redosed the same a few times later) so I tried smoking. It dident seem like Id taken to much when I smoked it the effects were still quite minimal just some trippy mental effects but no oevs and only very very slight cevs. oh and I know the scales are a bad idea. gonna invest in better ones soon
