Worried about prolonged elevated heart rate caused by 2-FA.

In the evenings of Thursday and Friday last week I consumed around 100mg 2-FA each evening/night. Evenings played out fine, didn't have a worryingly high heart rate at any point or chest pains or anything. Now it is Monday afternoon and my resting heart rate is around 84bpm which I've read is higher than it should be for a healthy 17 year old male. The area of my chest around my heart feels odd, like a little tight.
As far as I can tell it only seems to be getting better very slowly, does anyone have any similar experience, or think there is cause for concern? I'm getting a tad worried as its been over 60 hours since I had the last dose. Does anyone know the half-life of 2-FA?
Thanks in advance

AFAIK, the half life is similar to that of the other "FA" amphetamines. This report leads me to believe the half life is 6-12 hours. The wikipedia page for it isn't very helpful, sadly. However, you may have gotten a different batch, as this seems to be more and more of the norm with RCs (designer drugs). Are you still feeling any sort of stimulant effects or just the increased heart rate? Just because your 84BPM isn't "healthy" doesn't really mean much. How different is that from your usual resting heart rate?

I recommend taking a benzo or something similar.

No stimulant effects, but my extremities are cold, ala vasoconstriction. I'll wait it out another 24 hours, see what happens, and report back. Sorry is this is all over something very minor, the unknown nature of the thing just freaked me out a bit. That, and it being heart-related and all...
Thanks for the advice

(Oh, and I've never measured my resting heart rate, but I reckon its a little less than 84. I now have an incentive to do so when it eventually returns to normal!)

Clonidine is your best friend with elevated heart rates and blood pressures while on some form of amphetamine or other stimulant. It does a great job of lowering the heart rate and blood pressure to non-dangerous levels.

If Clonidine isn't accessible, then go for a strong hypnotic benzo - I'm talking shit like nitrazepam, temazepam, flunitrazepam, triazolam - not junk like clonazepam, alprazolam, and the like (but if this is all you're working with then by all means).

Diazepam might suffice. Benzos will also dampen the stimulant high.

Where did you find out the normal resting heart rate for your age? I have had a resting heart rate of 125 ( 30's - female) for the past five years. Now that is high. When I am anxious it's horrible bc my heart races so fast.

Yours is normal. Check this out:

I have experienced tightness around my chest and minor pain in my heart for a few days, after binging on adderall. This usually only happens in high doses, like 20 to 40 mg per night, for 3 to 5 days in a row (this is high for me since I don't do adderall exactly every single day otherwise).

You will be fine for the most part, at least you are still alive and typing! The chest tightness gets worse the more days you binge in a row. Take a break, do some downers for the next few days, and think about the lingering side effects the next time you do some uppers. I also don't suggest smoking weed, even though I recommended downers. For some reason, smoking makes my heart feel worse.

I compare the chest tightness to something like lifting weights if you haven't exercised for a while. Your muscles get sore, and take a few days to recover before you feel normal again. You just did it to your heart, imagine if you were running for 5 hours straight.

I'm feeling much better now, in fact almost as before. Thanks for all the input :)
