i wrote the thread sober in my notepad earlier but I'm high now while i'm actually posting it. Just wanted to say that cuz the title(and this too lol) might sound like I'm writing it high so i wanna clarify i wrote the thread sober
Thread(that i wrote sober):
my friend did oxycodone a few times, maybe 4 or 5?, in the past, but that was mainly just because it was with his girlfriend. After i told him how addictive it was tho he was like "holy shit!" and stayed away from it, except for once or twice at huge parties. He has major depression, and its been worse recently, so the two nights ago he texted me asking how much oxy to do and if theres any other major negative effects other than addiction(I'm sorta like his harm reduction advisor). I told him and asked why he wanted to do oxy and he said depression. he said that was the only time he was ever doing it again so addiction wont be a problem, but i found out just the next morning he did more... and then later that night he said he wanted to do more oxy but asked how risky it is for addiction and i told him its a really really bad idea so he went through his pill cabinet and found some codeine and asked if he'd like it and what it would feel like. Since its an opiate i told him he would like it and itll be simalar to oxy, but it also has a cross addiction with oxy so it could help develop an oxy addiction. he did it anyway.(BTW idk if i really explained this or not but basically he asks me questions about drugs and i answer them honestly and let him make his own choices, i dont really tell him weather or not he should do something.) He didnt do any more today, but the only reason he didnt is because he did to much acetominophen (4100 mg i think, within 24 hours. 2 night ago-last night) and it hurt. I'm gonna teach him how to do CWEs if he keeps using, but thats not really what im worried about right now. I'm just worried he's on the road to addiction. I'm not gonna try to force him to stop or make his own choices for him or anything, but i want him to understand what he's getting himself into. If anyone is an addict, an ex-addict, or have friends that are addicts can you share some advice, maybe stories and experiences with him?
