Hey everyone...
I was just wondering if anyone had any poems or quotes about this topic...let me tell my story (abriged of course). My long time family/best friend "John" and I have just had the "I don't know what this feeling is, but it's something" conversation. We've always been close, and I know i've always had some strange feelings for him but we have never gotten together for one reason or another. But we are starting to get older and I think we both realized there was something besides friendship. I don't even know what it is or what to do, but I swear I think I am so in love with him. Could it be real? Does anyone believe in soul mates? When we first kissed (after this conversation) I swear I thought I was going to die. OK...enough story.
Back to the point...i was just thinking that I wanted to send him a card with a quote or poem or something and wanted some help...thanks

Hey LiL rOb, how long did it take you to write that response(with all the caps and everything)? My first guess is that you're a cute little asian girl. Am I right?
Don't be offened or anything, it's not a flame. I just thought it was (funny/cute) and extremely hard to read.
But you're right about how dangerous friends ---> lover thing can be. I too had a similar expereince. Our relationship went down the drain after 1 1/2 years, with it our friendship. So, to let you know, you are steping into dangerous territory. But then again, maybe it was meant to be, so follow your heart!!

im just wondering how long it would take a cute little asian girl to write a term paper.holy crap....
i personally think that a wonderful relationship could stem from a close friendship,provided that you are both mature enough to realize that things will be different between you if it doesnt work out. you already have trust, friendship, and some form of "love", which could prove to be a wonderful foundation. just trust yourself.
 
hey again...
I know that i am stepping on dangerous ground, but I think that we have both had these feelings since back in High school...maybe even before that. One quote that reminds me of our relationship is "I've loved you in one way or another for as long as I can remember." I'm more scared of passing something like this up that could be wonderful than I am losing our friendship. Truthfully I can't see us ever not being friends-even if something went wrong in our relationship.
Thanks for responding...not too many poems/quotes...but that's ok : ) I like talking about it.
