So many night of smiles
to one night of soar
Pain I wish I could take away
words dont seem to be enough
When the pain on your face
is what i want to kiss away
the eyes reaching to touch my tears
my heart yearning to feel your touch
patience running out
where as a touch means more then a thousand
words could ever say
Given time and time
Knowning we wake up each day alittle closer
doesn't help ache that has settled in
Words don't seem enough
when My arms can't touch you now
when I can't take away your pain or loss
no matter what happens knowing
we will never doubt our love
Words dont seem enough
where as a touch means more then a thousand
words could ever say
Given time and time
Knowning we wake up each day alittle closer
doesn't help ache that has settled in
Words don't seem enough
when Tears on my part flow through
you like a knife
no more sorries, no more worries
the urge to take it all away
to touch you feel you make it all okay
words don't seem enough
where as a touch means more then a thousand
words could ever say
Given time and time
Knowning we wake up each day alittle closer
doesn't help ache that has settled in
Words don't seem enough

"It is like a finger pointing away to the moon"
How can I describe the feeling of what you just wrote in words? I cant.Words are definitly not enough...
I'll use a song instead.
"To see you when I wake up, is a gift I didn't think could be real
To know that you feel the same, as I do, is a Three-fold utopian dream
You do something to me
That I can't explain
So would I be out of line, If I said
I miss you.
I see your picture, I smell your skin on, the empty pillow next to mine
You have only been gone ten days, but already I am wasting away
I know I'll see you again
Whether far or soon
But I need you to know, that I care
And I miss you."-Incubus

A common misconception people have is that poets love language and words. This is not true. The true poet, while a wordsmith, hates, despises, loathes words for they never truly convey what the poet feels in his/her heart and soul.
Well done cherub.

you have so much emotion in you...
but your words, painful and real as they are,
are so beautiful they way you write them.
you and whoever you are writing about
obviously have a very special connection, and
that person is lucky to have you in their life.
