Withdrawals from oxy! Help!

Hi there!
Im new here, just signed up a couple days ago, but have been a visitor for a few years! This site has been very helpful in the past.sorry if I’m posting in the wrong thread!
Short story, im pretty much addicted to Oxycodone, I never make it to my next fill date and most of the time I can just take my moms ( she never takes them) but this Month I went through both. I don’t know how that happened but it just did. So now I am 48 hours with absolutely zero oxycodone in my system. I do have gabapentin and clonidine. It’s helps a little, but I still feel horrible and just want to be in bed. I just have to make it until Monday when I can get my refill
My question is how much if these meds can I take without hurting myself. My family has no clue I’m addicted.
 
What dosages of gabapentin and clonidine are you taking? These two are among the best aids for opioid withdrawal, clonidine will make you even more tired but bring relief in regards to restless legs (imo next worst symptom of withdrawal after depression/anxiety) and insomnia. Gabapentin substitutes a bit for opioids and calms the withdrawal, also helps to fall and stay asleep but you'll need to dose quite high to get full relief. I think these two won't make withdrawal magically disappear like dissociatives can do (memantine's best, saved my ass when withdrawing form morphine together with pregabalin which is basically the same as gabapentin but more potent and expensive. Unfortunately can memantine be hard to acquire in countries like the US where a prescription is required.)

Both drugs you take, clonidin and gabapentin, are very safe and can be dosed quite high. Gabapentin is absorbed best if staggered instead of taking all at once.
But you will look and feel intoxicated above a certain dose level.

I’ve been starting off with 200 mg of GABA and one clonidine. Then taking two more GABA an hour later. I was afraid to take more clonidine at that time because I wasn’t sure how often I could take it
Just kind of doing this all day long… Are those way low dosages!?
 
Both dosages are on the lower end, specially the gabapentin. Depending on how much you have, you can dose up to more than a gram (of course increase gradually). It's also taken 2-3times a day and works best if high doses are staggered. Clonidine gets used higher as well but I'd increase the gabapentin first, clonidine can be very sedating but also helps against anxiety and restless legs, sweating etc.

Loperamide. Take 20-30mg it will decrease the intensity of most of the symptoms(especially diarrhea). It's cheap and otc, I think u can survive on that and gaba+clonidine. It'll make the wds more bearable. Good luck and stay safe.

Get loperamide!!!!! Asap take 10 pills, it'll take like 4 hrs to fully kick in but it'll be a GODsend, trust me. U Won't regret it.

So I upped the dosages and I mostly feel like I’m in a drunken state. The aches and pains are horrible. Headache and just feeling like I want to sleep all day. Which I can.
I have a question for u since u seem to have a lot of good info!
My friend is offering me 4mg of dilaudid. Have u had any experience with these! I’m afraid it will be too much for me! I currently take 60-80 Mgs oxy

Do not take a super high dose of Clonidine. As addicts, we want what we want...like, yesterday!! More is not better with Clonidine. too much and you will feel like
extra shitty. I did this. The dose you are on is the standard dose. It does what it is supposed to do. Lower your elevated blood pressure, do to the opiate
withdrawals.
I didn't want to wait the 8 hours to take another dose of Clonidine. So I took like 2 or 3. I started getting palpitations like I was having a heart attack. I even walked
my poor, sleep-deprived ass to the ER. I was having a panic attack.

I also used Gabapentin in conjunction with the Clonidine and that's all. It helps a lot in my opinion. Did I feel excellent? Fuck no. But I stopped rocking back and forth. And while sleep was still elusive, I could relax a bit. And that was priceless.

Be careful. You will make it to Monday. You are almost there :cool:

Hey!

I was always fearful of taking Lope. I read too many posts about getting addicted to it! And fucking up your system. Is any of this valid?

I always just used what I could, which was Clonidine and Gabapentin. I will always have them on hand...just in case.

Sorry that you are going through this.
Loperamide works very well to bridge a gap between prescriptions. 40 mg.
There is a danger with loperamide, if you have any heart issues, do not go there.
It has helped me many times.
Do not take more than 3 600 mg gabapentin a day. It will hurt your kidneys. Bad. Bad pain.

I hope you are extracting all the Tylenol (acetaminophen) out of those pills before you take that much.
You will have liver failure from Tylenol poisoning and it is the worst torture, that is beyond your wildest imaginations.
Please be careful.

I just had my doctor retire and couldn’t find another one, due to me being prescribed morphine for 16 years.
So, I was left hanging. Sick as shit.
Finally, got to a doctor who gave me suboxone yesterday.
This stuff isn’t bad actually.
I might be alright with the suboxone.
Something to think about.

Take the dilaudid.
You can always take half of one, just to see. But, I don’t think it will be too strong considering your current 60-80 mg Oxy.
I was thinking that wouldn’t be enough for you.

i know its a late but from harm reduction stand point do not mix pregabalin and opioids; this is why pregabalin became scheduled... deaths.
and do we even know what "opioiods" we aquire?
I take it your product is prescribed...?

so I am prescribed 100 mg of Gabapentin, 3 times a day.
And 4-10 mg of oxy
I do take a family members also (I know I hate myself for it) it’s 5 mg of IR oxy
I take around 60 mgs a day
The past three days I’ve been taking 200 mg gaba, and .2 clonidine about 3 times a day.
My friend offered me the dilaudid 4 mg.
I’m just not familiar with this so I didn’t know if it would be too much for me.
I plan on taking it tonight? My last dosage of gaba/clonidine was at 8 this morning
Do u think it’s safe to try the D?

(On a side note, I'm pretty sure pregabalin has always been schedule V, ever since it was released, due to FDA fears of abuse potential seen in early studies.)
