Withdrawal and depression?

yea great informative post Captian.

I used opiates maybe just 3-4 times a week ... these last 3 days without i have suffered some deeper depression (very emotional at a lot of my memories). I'm considered a very casual user and for these symptoms to exist it shows it's a powerful drug.

Thanks a lot for the support guys. It makes me feel better that I am not the only one who experiences these feelings when quitting using. But, on a more positive note, today has been a really good day for me. I completely immersed myself in my new job, and worked a long shift today. Because I was so busy, I was able to keep my mind of of everything that brings on the depression, and mainly heroin. Almost done with day number 10 of being clean. Things are looking up! Once again thanks for the help guys!

Yea depression is definetely a big by production of withdrawal. It's actually pretty crippling when you're already depressed to begin with,
