Bupe Will this work for micron filtering?

I was at the hardware store today and I saw an air filtration package that was open, I read the back and it mentioned being rated something on a scale that filtrates .3 to 1 micron so I ripped a piece of the material off. I was wondering will this stuff work to filter buprenorphine for an injection? I know its not as good as a real filter, but will this atleast add to the harm reduction if I use this and cotton?
