I'm having an operation on my nose and throat in a few months, and I've come into a bit of cocaine. I rubbed some of it in my gums, but I'd like to be able to snort it. Will my ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) doctor be able to tell if I've only done it a few times? I'm not worried about the legal implications with doctor-patient confidentiality and all, but I would hate to lose out on, in my doctors words, "a whole lot of liquid oxycodone".
This is my second nose operation, I've already had a septoplasty (trimming my septum), does that make it any better or worse to be snorting? The next procedure will be trimming my adenoids among other things, which are enlarged. Since these would keep more powder in my nasal cavity and probably slow the drip, would that change anything?
Followup: what about snorting other drugs? Is the nose-destroying property of cocaine due to it's vasoconstricting qualities, or is that just what happens when powder goes up your nose? I take Sumatriptan, which needs to get in my system ASAP when a migraine starts so insufflation would help. I only have the pills, but I know it comes in an injectable form so I assume it's water-soluble.
