Will IdentityMusicFestival on August 25at Miami be cancelled due to Hurricane Irene?

So what do you know.
Recently my last few days have been days of unfortunate occurrences. My father suffered an emergency heart condition and had to be hospitalized, my girlfriend and best friend and family of 3 years broke up with me and all i had in my life was this Identity Music Festival being held at Bayfront park on August 25th.

Sadly Hurricane Irene is expected to hit at a category 1 rate on Thursday... the day of the festival. This not only crushes my soul but really brings and crashes my life hard into the pavement.

Although the festival ticket and site saids the festival will be held "rain or shine" do you believe it will be held and still happen even if Irene is coming and supposedly hitting that day?

I will be calling the Venue soon and asking them for more info as well as try and contact the festival itself...

but basically i need your opinions and though.. preferably those that are positive.


i posted this here because i had prepared my self with much goodies and gorgeous mollies and this event was basically going to keep my life from crashing and basically keep me sane. If it does not happen... i honestly don't know what id do.

Pretty sure that Identity Festival has a ZERO drug tolerance policy. I have no clue what this thread is doing in Ecstasy discussion. Identity has nothing to do with drugs.

If a hurricane is due to hit then perhaps they should cancel it. Last thing we need is a bunch of crushed ravers in the news.

I looked at all the forums and i really didnt know which one to post this in. And yeh its suppose to have a zero drug tolerance policy but friends from other cities rolled marvelously at the festival. I posted it here because i was looking to a very positive and good rolling experience at this festival and I'm terrified that now it might be cancelled.
