Will I withdraw?

So look, I've never been a crazy OC head. I've never been outta control, but maybe a year ago i started feeling a withdrawl...from then on it was like I'd do it on Friday and withdraw the rest of the week. I've stopped for 4 weeks, just a few aches now. What I want to know is--if I do just one roxy or OP (haven't tried)...will I withdrawl like crazy or will it not be as bad? I would really appreciate any help

your asking if you take one roxi once will you withdraw?... no... withdrawal comes from extended use. its possible the opiates will make you sick... but thats not because of withdrawal.

edit: you can also get a kinda hangover from more opiates then you can handle. i use to get horrible headaches the next day. sometimes so bad i would throw up. is that what your refering to?

You will probibly withdrawl again maybe not as long as you previously did. However, what helps me when Im out of tabs I have darvocet and Tramadol I take for a few days after and it eases off plus I lift weights and that helps too. If you dont have a shitty opiate like those I dont know what else you could use. I guess it depends if your willing to withdrawl for a week or not. In my opinion a drug aint worth it to withdrawl that long over but thats my opinion and Im older now and would have a different view on it if I were younger. If you do it dont worry about the withdrawl and have fun man, withdrawls are mostly mental

It's hard to say without more exact information about your usage, and you have to keep in mind that everyone is different.

Some basic points I can make though that might help to answer your question:
->Once you have had a tolerance in the past, should you start using again your tolerance will return much more quickly than it did the first time.

->On average, after you stop using, it takes the body about twice as long as the period of use to stabilize and return to its normal state.

I really appreciate your advice. Today I'm 28 days clean from oc and 15 from suboxone. My back and neck still hurt and I loathe my office chair, but this isn't worth going through again, ever. I was never a crazy addict and I'm really just upset that I probably wont be able to enjoy it again, I think that's the worst part.

what they said ^. I've found that it usually takes at least a month of being clean before I can use once or twice without getting sick...even if it's mild for only 24-48 hours. I'm not sure how the 15 days off suboxone will affect you though. Does 15 days off suboxone and 28 days of oxy rule each other out so you're really only 13 days clean of opiates? If so, then I'd wait a bit longer if you don't want to get sick.

And as for not being able to enjoy it... I totally know what you mean. I'll be clean for a month or so and then get a 40 or two 30's and do it all and not even be that fucked up. Total bummer, especially since oxy goes $1/mg where I'm from.

The more clean days you give yourself the stronger the high will be. Not that I recommend starting again after you get clean...

No dude you have to habituate your body to the drug over an extended period of time for the absence of the drug to produce WDs. one dose wont hurt you as far as WDs
